KLCC / Petronas Twin Towers


Klcc here i come!

My session is on 9:30 am and each visitor will received this colour tag.
You need to be at least 10 minutes earlier. Staff will brief you before they escort you to the bridge.

After that they will escort you to the highest level -level 86. They are 88 floors but the upper 2 floor is function as mechanical floor.

Petronas Twin Tower has been the tallest tower in the world in 1998. If I'm not mistaken it is remain the highest TWIN TOWER till today. This tower is the landmark of Malaysia. You have not been to Malaysia if u don't take picture in front of this tower famously known as KLCC. (Kuala Lumpur City Centre)
Each tower is built by different company to encourage competition.(i learnt that in Nat Geo show) lol

Anyway i also remember The Amazing Race 3 (US ) feature KLCC as the destination and I'm  watching like crazy  when they show Malaysia flag (Jalur Gemilang ) as the next destination from Switzerland (they have to guess the country) like  Wow they coming to Malaysia !! n Zach the one who knows the answers(he is the winner btw) Good job hehe!

How to get tickets :
Well you can only purchase tickets through counter, so u need to come VERY VERY EARLY for same day visit before the ticket sold out !
or u can just come twice to KLCC , and purchase advance ticket for tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.(they allow this)

There is a shopping mall in the middle of the tower: Suria KLCC and next to it is the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.( which also home of the Plenary Hall). You can also walk at the park  and children can play at the pool provided.
Apart from shopping and dining you can also enjoy   Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra http://mpo.com.my/ ( must follow their dress code) .



If you come with family you can bring the kids to Aquaria KLCC.  It is a world class Aquarium consist of marine animals all over the world.  You can also attempt swim with the sharks here.

Kuala Kangsar Perak

I keep going to other places but my own hometown has its own charms. Kuala Kangsar  is Royal Town of Perak state in Malaysia. It is full of historical place and beautiful  traditional architecture. Kuala Kangsar located between Ipoh and Taiping with approximate distance only half an hour via highway.

Transport : Land via car, bus (direct from Kuala Lumpur), train (u can also use ets to Ipoh and change to normal train -Ipoh - Kuala Kangsar.

Near the roundabouts is the tourism office. You may rent a bicycle there to go to the palaces in Bukit Chandan.You can enquire other info and accommodations here

Royal Gallery of Sultan Azlan Shah


This is one of old palace convert to be gallery by the current Sultan. You can view Sultan personal 's belonging and history. There is also collection of antique car in the gallery.
 2. Ubudiah Mosque / Masjid Ubudiah


This mosque is one of beautiful mosques in Malaysia. Please dress appropriately and behave respectfully towards the mosque.

3.Istana Iskandariah


This is the official palace for Sultan Azlan Shah. All official ceremony will be conducted here.

4.Nearby is Istana Kenangan / Royal Museum

It used to be one of the palace. It is built not using nail but a special tradiitional archictetir technique. Currently it is a museum .

Nak makan makanan Korea...dimanakah ?

 Dekat restoren ni dah tulis semua sumber makanan adalah halal.
Jalan jalan cari makan TV3 pun pernah datang sini. Yang best dekat ss15 , tingkat 2 boleh tinggalkan post -it notes  dan tulislah apa saje.boleh gak berkumpul dan makan sambil bersila. (meja jepun or meja korea hehe) . Juga disediakan permainan papan bolehla sapa2 yang nak main  sambil layan lagu kpop.

 Restoren ni tulis pork free ,  ada yang tanya sumber ayam dan daging di dalam facebook mereka  , pihak pengurusan mengatakan  ianya halal.
Juga menarik kat sini sebab ada icecream dari korea. Ingredients pun dalam english use vegetable fat..(imported ice cream yang kat bawah ni)

4. Bulgogi brothers
Yang ni pernah makan sekali sahaja. Tapi side dish dia memang banyak sangat. Air teh pun free refill. Samajuga dlm facebook , pengurusan mengatakan daging di sini adalah halal

This french type bakery is origin from South Korea.  Eunhyuk 's mum  (Super Junior ) also own one of this franchise bakery in Seoul. This store opens it branch in Malaysia last July.






My choice of bread and drink for this visit are :

Sweet Garlic Stick
I really like garlic bread but this is one of a kind since it is sweet. Definitely gonna come back for this plus it is cheap !! RM 1.80










Other munchies all taste good according to my tastebudlah ...semua pass tp no 1 sweet garlic bread :)

They play french song inside the bakery , u cant resist to feel that u are in Paris ( although its own by Korean co, hehe). Will visit again. Merci
