Tower Records and things you could buy only in Japan

As a Kpop fan, a visit to Tower Records is a must.Tower Records in Sapporo in so small it is located inside Uniqlo building.  The Kpop sections cover around 3 shelves and of course, I will buy one even though  I already preorder Got7 cd . Tower Record "eyes on you" are also come with preorder benefit Look Book although it is an in-store purchase. The price is similar to Korean Won so I could not stop my self lol.

The first intention to Tower Records is Day6. They finally release a Japan single !

Japan release mean- hi-touch event, Japan showcase will be held in the future. I missed their events in Tokyo by 1 day.

4) Chocolates

Muslim and Vegan need to check the ingredients first. You can use google translate apps image to check the ingredients.

This Alfort mini the normal flavour- chocolate and white chocolate is less than 100 yen.  The premium one is a bit expensive. Harajuku street selling them at 68 yen while in Sapporo Don Quijote the price is 88 yen.

Coca Cola Hokkaido Factory

Coca Cola Factory in Sapporo

There is a reason why this Coke sign is at New Chitose. Their Hokkaido factory is located here.
All Coca-Cola was produce and bottle here. You can also visit the factory for free but the tour is conducted fully in Japanese and at an allocated session.

As a Coke lover, I want to visit the factory as well.  I filled the form however I never got any reply. Thus I send another one from different email lol and enquire but they reply that they never receive my email for the application, they also confirm with me the timing available for a visit if I want to join.

I will not provide their email here but the email /application is googleable lol. The reason is we ( foreigner ) is not their main target and customer. I don't want other people who want to go there for the sake of doing other than normal tourist did.( not a true fan) . To be honest who will visit factory when there is tons of great scenery arround Hokkaido LOL. Plus what if actually at first they want to ignore my email hahaha but because of my persistence they allow me to visit ahahaha.

Plus going there by bus is a challenge. Taking Chuo bus without any Japanese reading ability is a challenge. Even in google map, the bus stop name is in Kanji. We are just lucky that we are able to ask for the local help and we saw the factory from the bus window and press the bell lol. You can go there via taxi but it will cost you a lot.

The factory tour guide name is Miss Asahi . She speaks a bit of English and very friendly. She asks us to leave our heavy bag in the room. At first we are given English brochure and we watched some video about Coke History ( inclusive one video feat Japanese Boy and American Girl). Miss Asahi will explains in Japanese first and come to us and explains the key point in English.

Miss Asahi explains to me * after she explains to another Japanese visitor* during an earthquake or emergency the vending machine will reset and the public can take the drinks for free. my first response was " Sugoi!" well all of the other visitor laugh at my Japanese ( Total visitor including us= 6 pax)

You cant take picture at all inside the factory. But we did see the packaging process, the information on vending machine development, the bottle / can recycle process inside the factory. The most amazing thing is the storage. It is massive and was organized by a machine. It has almost 12 levels.
The tour takes 1 hour and we can choose a free drink of any brand process at the factory. We also got Coke folder for free. I thought I can get the limited edition bottle at the factory but they dont sell it there. They have only for display.

Miss Asahi said I can buy the Hokkaido edition at the shopping area nearby the Sapporo underground. However the next day we went to the Sapporo Tv Tower and they sell this coke as a souvenir. ( You cant find it at 7eleven or family mart)  I managed to buy Hokkaido edition and Sapporo Snow festival can .

P/s dekat Malaysia pun ada kilang coke juga tp tau hanya budak2 sekolah sahaja yang buat lawatan.


Btw the peach coke is available at any convenience store. The peach taste is strong so whoever dont drink coke might like this one.

ANA All Nippon Airways & Mount Fuji

Fuji just outside of my window ( don't worry I don't see any Kaiju-lol Pacific Rim much)

Tips to get the best seat to view mount Fuji.
Choose the right section  of the aeroplane. I was seated at 28 K. My flight is from Narita to Kuala Lumpur.

At first, during the take off, I can only see this view :
I thought ahh maybe this is the only Mount Fuji view that I can get.

But after a few minutes after, we fly above the majestic Fuji! It is so pretty and everyone is amazed.

Ini kali pertama naik Ana untuk tujuan ke Sapporo.  Setelah dianalisis harga tiket AirAsia lebih kurang sama sahaja dengan Ana , saya fikir lebih baik saya naik Ana yang sudah siap dengan makanan dan bagasi 23kg x 2. Namun begitu Ana tiada penerbangan direct ke Sapporo , kami perlu transit di Haneda selama 8 jam.

Flight 6 jam mmg selesa, tandas juga dilengkapi dengan bidet!. Tandas haruslah dikunci untuk lampu menyala.

2 jam sebelum landing , tak sempat lapar ada lagi makanan iaitu Sandwic telur !

Penerbangan kami ke Sapporo ialah pada pukul 6:15 pagi keesokkan hari. Kami dikehendaki mengambil bag di carousel selepas immigresen. Terminal Haneda International dibuka 24 jam. kami mmg plan untuk stay di airport sahaja. Shower room juga disediakan 24jam dengan bayaran. Kami solat Isyak dan Magrib jamak dahulu di Surau Haneda sebelum memilih port untuk tidur.

Namun kami berjaya berpindah kepada kerusi yang agak lembut dan kami telah set alarm pada pukul 4am untuk siap2 solat subuh dan bergerak ke Terminal Domestik.

Flight domestik Ana terletak di  Haneda Terminal 2.  Bas pertama dari International Terminal ke Terminal 2 ialah pada pukul 4:48 am.. Ramai orang yang sudah beratur pada pukul 4:40am
Kami berjaya menaiki bas yang pertama namun apabila sampai ke kaunter, kaunter hanya akan dibuka pada pukul 5:15 masih ada masa lagi untuk duduk2. ( dah terbiasa naik AirAsia selalunya kena ada 2 jam untuk check in)

Kamipun selamat mendarat di Lapangan Terbang  New Chitose ( domestik dan antarabangsa terletak di dalam 1 terminal)

Jangan lupa bergambar di sini ( cuma perlu typekan nama sendiri)  terletak di smile road.

Boleh juga melawat Royce World, Doraemon dan Hello Kitty di sini.

Perjalanan New Chitose- Narita
Flight 7:45am

Oleh kerana kami tinggal di Stesen Sapporo kami hanya perlu jalan kaki untuk menaiki tren pertama 6am ke New Chitose. Agak risiko sebenarnya kerana Sapporo masih lagi bersalji dan oleh kerana flight kami 7:45 am jika ada delay atau masalah kami mungkin terlepas kapal terbang.  Alhamdulillah tiada apa2 yang berlaku.

Untuk penerbangan domestik langsung tiada meal tetapi jus masih tetap disediakan dan mereka turut menawarkan wifi serta entertainment ( perlu diakses dari phone sendiri) Tiada monitor di setiap seat.
Pramugari mengatakan flight ini hanya ada 20 orang sahaja. Kami sahaja foreigner di situ, maka kami telah diberi layanan extra. Mereka bertanya jika kami perlukan minuman lagi serta turut menghadiahkan poskad dan kad maklumat penerbangan mereka lol ( ibarat kami kanak2 haha ) tetapi mereka memang sweet.

Disebabkan penerbangan kami ke KL adalah pada hari yang sama, beg terus check in ke Kuala Lumpur.

Makanan yang dihidangkan ( perlu request MOML - muslim meal) sekurangnya 24 jam sebelum fly :  Jika book direct boleh terus pilih MOML  , jika book dari agent atau Traveloka, kena maklumkan melalu email  Traveloka ( kami book dari Traveloka) mereka akan maklumkan pihak Ana

Untuk mengisi masa kali ni saya menonton movie box-office Korea- The Taxi Driver.  Cerita ini berinspirasikan kisah sebenar pada tahun 1970 yang memang menarik.

Secara keseluruhan , memang puas hati naik ANA dari segi bagasi , makanan dan layanan krew mereka. Rasanya kalau ke Jepun mmg hendak pilih Ana lagi .
