Halal food and Prayer Room / Musolla / Surau in Tokyo, Seoul and Bangkok

I am too lazy to make a separate posts lol...

Tokyo :
Bagi saya dibandingkan dengan negara2 bukan Islam yang lain, Jepun adalah yang terbaik dalam meyediakan keperluan Muslim seperti surau dan makanan halal. Kalau tgk halal map merata2 prayer room dekat Tokyo. Kebanyakkan prayer room disediakan di kedai2 tax free seperti Laox ( yang juga menyediakan souvenir halal). Yang penting juga kebanyakkan Toilet di mall jepun  dilengkapi dengan bidet. Tu paling best tu lol...

Masjid utama ialah Masjid Tokyo Camii ( stesen terdekat Yoyogi Uehara ) . Sampai di airport jangan lupa ambil brochur Tokyo Map for Muslim , dekat Osaka dan Sapporo pun ada map ni.
Dekat Haneda ada 2 prayer room level departure ( cumanya takde logo laki perempuan) so confuse yang belah mana sikitla lol. Tempat wudhu disediakan cuma mmg tak bole stay lebih dr 15 min .akan ada officer yang suruh keluar.(dia taknak kita tidur di situ)

Shinjuku:

 Wudhu boleh ambil di tandas bersebelahan.
Alternatif lain di Shinjuku : Takashimaya Times Square ( kedua2 bangunan ni cuma 7-8 minit dr stesen Shinjuku)

Bole makan di Shinjuku Ramen Ouka (stesen terdekat -ShinjukuGyoenMae) 2 stesen dr stesen Shinjuku. Kalau google taip je halal ramen shinjuku , mesti jumpa page dia ( tulis dalam bahasa jepun)

Suka makanan restoren ni sebab ramen dia set dengan nasi ,ayam ,telur + ada pemanis mulut sekali. Harga 1050 yen (small)tu berbaloilah sebab kenyang. Kena bayar dulu dekat vending mesin dan ambil kupon.

Cara nak pergi Ouka:
Stesen ShinjukuGyoenMae Exit 2. Pusing kiri sampai nampak Bank Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ. Pusing Kiri jalan sikit nampak dah restoran tu dekat corner (sebelah kanan anda)

Asakusa juga pusat utama makanan halal . Kebanyakkan restoren menyediakan ruang solat sekali. Yang paling senang di Jepun ni boleh pakai Google maps je untuk direction. ( dibandingkan dengan Korea google maps telah di"disablekan" hanya map bahasa korea je yang boleh pakai.

Nasib baik Naritaya beberapa minit je dr sini.  Terus tukar makan ramen.

  Ruang sembahyang disediakan juga tp sempit sgt untuk seorang je.

siap taruk logo halal untuk aiskrim (seberang jalan stesen asakusa arah ke temple dan Naritaya)

Seoul :
Masjid Utama di Itaewon, sekeliling masjid tu penuh restoran halal.

Dibandingkan dengan Tokyo surau yang ada di Seoul cuma di Korea Tourism HQ. Boleh juga jalan2 tengok Cheonggyeocheon stream.
Stesen terdekat : Jonggak  exit 5 ( bangunan KTO bersebelahan dengan citibank so nak withdraw duit pun ok) Rasanya kalau Seoul payah gak nak jumpa global atm kena carik citibank/standard chartered.

Laki dan perempuan diasingkan . Tempat wudhu disediakan. Tiada telekung waktu saya pergi (mungkin disediakan tp kena minta untuk pinjam dr staff) sebab ada terbaca memo mesti pulangkan barang yang dipinjam dekat surau tu.

Boa Guesthouse  , Hongdae
Selain Itaewon boleh jugak dapat makanan halal di Hongdae ( stesen Hongik University Exit 4)
Hari tu dah pernah stay sini tp masa tu dia kena reserve tapi sekarang ni boleh je walk in tak perlu reservation.

Waktu Operasi : 12pm- 9pm

Hari tu beli topokki dan kimbap tuna sahaja. Disebabkan seorang je chef, mungkin kena tunggu lama sikit kalau ramai orang.

Bangkok Impact Arena dan Don Muang
Surau ada disediakan di Airport Don Muang ( level 1) . Wudhuk perlu diambil di tandas  di level yang sama ( tempat membasuh kaki disediakan).
Impact Arena juga ada surau (masuk ikut entrance opposite Novotel) Memory lost tak sure kenapa tak ambil gambar sign langsung lol
Makanan halal yang ada di Impact Arena ialah  Kebab sahaja. Makanya kalau ada event di Muang Thani / Thunder Dome makan kebabjelah.

Japan Kit Kat Halal atau tidak ? ~sharing

Catatan Mac 2014,

Salam saya baru sahaja balik dari Osaka. Ini adalah hasil observation saya.
Berdasarkan emel yang hanya produk bernombor siri kurang dari L3263 sahaja yang tidak ada mengandungi babi, saya ingin katakan saya tidak jumpa langsung produk yang kurang dari no siri tersebut.Semua lebih dari no. tersebut.Saya dah macam auditor pun ada.kesemua kedai runcit,saya check no. siri tersebut.
Contohnya :

Saya ulang saya hanya berdasarkan no. siri sahaja . Saya TIDAK FAHAM isi kandungannya. Saya juga telah bertanya kepada Nestle tetapi mereka mengatakan semua isi kandungan adalah yang seperti  dipamerkan di  bungkusan Kit Kat tersebut.Tiada jawapan ya atau tidak kepada pertanyaan saya.

Oleh itu sesiapa yang fasih bahasa Jepun dan tau istilah dalam makanan. Saya harap dapat share di sini. Mungkin lebih baik kita faham apakah bahan yang tidak boleh tersebut? gelatin ? elmusifier ?
Atau sesiapa yang terjumpa dengan KitKat yang bersiri kurang dari L3263 sila juga komen disini sebab itu tajuk post ni  sharing...lol

Walaubagaimana kakak saya telah menyimpan untuk koleksi kotak kit Kit Kat yang dibeli pada tahun 2012.
hasilnya *juga berdasarkan no.siri sahaja* ianya kurang dari L3263 ianya sama seperti yang diberitahu dalam emel kepada saya bahawa ianya tidak mengandungi apa2 ekstrak haiwan.

Oleh itu tahun 2014 saya tidak makan KitKat dari Jepun .................

Mungkin kita sendiri patut keluarkan perisa yang unik seperti jepun.
Nestle Malaysia apa lagi? I suggest your side to produce unique flavour like Japan did.
it can attract the local and other tourist. It may also tap the halal market.

-Kit Kat Cili Padi
-Kit Kat Durian ( omg )
-Kit Kat Teh Tarik ha ko ada ???
-Kit kat pisang
-Kit Kat nasi lemak/sambal... eh rasa mcm genius plak...*patut amik bidang makanan ni*gelak guling diri sendiri

I got my wish people ...weeps. I just went to KitKat Chocolatary in Malaysia,Midvalley... not sure they read my email or this blog...but it happen. Rasa tak percaya ....

 Kit Kat Nasi Lemak

Walaupun takde halal jakim , tapi base on ingredients boleh je...lagipun takkan KitKat kat Malaysia ni nak jual benda tak halal...kalau ada lagi bagus. Step up Nestle Malaysia ...boleh masuk pasaran halal.

By the way saya juga balik dari Tokyo . Dekat airport Haneda saya jumpa flavor terbaru  Cheese + Hokkaido Melon (dia jual yg 4 piece aje) so murah sikit , saya pakai apps google translate je dan compare kanji untuk untuk coklat ni  guna soy emulsifier.(nyukazai). Terpulang pada penilaian masing2.Wallahualam

Saya pegi  Jepun tahun lepas ..tetapi baru teringat nak post something about this.Masa kat Jepun memang banyakla Kit Kat yang menarik takde kat sini.

Seperti dalam gambar ni.

menarikkan... rasa nak makan semua... masalahnya semua bahan bahan dalam bahasa Jepun.

Di airport saya telah beli jugalah Kit Kat Green Tea, Wasabi dan Blueberry Cheese dengan niat nanti emaillah tanya Nestle kandungan dia.

Saya tanya samaada ada lemak binatang atau alkohol dalam Kit Kat yang saya beli tu. Inilah balasan mereka.

Hmm ada alkohol apakah hukum alkohol walau sedikit ? 
Tapi disebabkan dah ragu2 maka nya saya telah bagi pada kawan yang bukan beragama Islam KitKat Blueberry dan Wasabi as souvenir. Green Tea saya makan ..sedap !! hehe . perisa lain saya tak taulah...sila email sendiri..or siapa tahu bahasa jepun sila listkan.

Tapi baru -baru ini terjumpa web ni ..ada pendapat yang boleh difikirkan juga mengenai hukum alkohol :
Arak ialah alkohol..tetapi alkohol is not necessary arak.

Saya berterima kasih pada Nestle Jepun kerana sudi membalas email. Saya juga  mencadangkan untuk di lapangan terbang dan target market muslim diletakkan sticker " does not contain animal fat and  alcohol"  pada Kit Kat yang tiada kedua dua elemen ini di dalam email yang sama.

Just incase Japan Nestle googled this. I thank your side for replying me about the ingredients in Kit Kat. Just some of my suggestions:
For niche market u can target to all your Muslim tourist going to Japan  or even export to Muslim country.
Therefore u just put sticker on those products " does not contain animal fat & alcohol" in airport shelf and we gladly buy those Kit Kat. Im gonna buy those green tea again !!

By the way here is the photo of green tea that i bought with blueberry cheese and Tokyo Banana last time. or is wasabi?? ops sorry ..but i did buy 3 flavor .Oh and my sister also  found out  that Tokyo Banana is not halal as it has pig gelatine in it.

Update : August  2015...Terbaru dari Nestle Halal Kit Kat Greentea manufactured in Malaysia.
Boleh dapat di major shopping mall...hmm i wonder did Nestle Malaysia read my post lol... any Tourist whi come to Malaysia you can also purchase greentea flavor and it is Halal

kpop influence in Japan

Kpop is big in Tokyo.. when i was there CNBLUE just release their Japanese album "Where You Are" They are performing in Osaka if it is Tokyo i might has attend their showcase hehe.

The first promo ad that i notice is for ONEDAY - (2PM +  2PM) on Hanako magazine cover. It was put in middle of Subway.

Other than that i saw Kim Hyun Joong and Tower record also gives 10% discount when i was at Tokyo. All of their album is counted to Oricon Chart. I read because the market is bigger , all singer willing to learn Japan Language and release album here.

the anime ..Yaesu street and doraemon

Finally its our last dat at Japan.. it is Valentine day

I choose to go to anime street.. no meaning if u go to japan and u dont buy anything related to doraemon... it is easy to go there just go to tokyo station and search for Yaesu exit.

there are pokemon, doraemon, naruto, ultraman and many more !

I went to Uniqlo and bought some shirt just because Uniqlo is from japan but still the the shirt is made in china.. lucky for me the is sales for Harry Potter tshirts so i manage to buy for only rm20+ ringgi ..yeah!

after that we just stroll our way to airport we even take a cab to the airport coach hub coz we are tired.  Tokyo i hope to visit u again or maybe osaka during cherry blossom. :)

Harajuku Shibuya Shinjuku Ikebukero

Today we check out from Hearton Hotel and change to budget hotel- Sakura chain hotel located at Ikebukero ! 

At first we a little bit lost since the train took too long time to arrive..but the JR staff is always helpful and although they are not influence in english , they have format form which include train schedule and platform number.

This Sakura hotel provide traditional Japanese room ..yes i need to feel how Nobita live lol.

 

Harajuku

After that we went to Harajuku ! Every sunday teen will gather here and wear their cosplay...note :there is daiso here ! hehe  We also eat our lunch here . The restaurant is using vege oil as told by our friend who stay at Japan once.but i seriously cant recall the name.but that is the only fastfood restaurant. I eat prawn burger.

Hachiko

Today we take JR pass 730 yen (using all JR services). First stop : the famous dog in Japan is : drum roll... Hachiko....!  I remember i cry watching the movie . It is located at Shibuya station. The famous busy crossing is also here. There is also mall selling Blue Burberry here.(only avail in japan)
We also went to camera chain retail store here... so many camera n instax film !

After that , Shinjuku..well the first Isetan is here and Kinokunya ! Bought some postcard at Kinokuniya so that i'll receive a mail from Japan once at home !

I also  went to Tower record and bought 2pm dvd , Seven cd and Infinite hehe ( because they run kpop promo and discount for 10%)

Lunch time - we decided to go to the mosque . Camii mosque. We need to exchange train here and Alhamdullilah i print the directions from website and manage to get there. The mosque is with Turkish design and we also met mix family of japanese and turkish!  The mosque is magnificiently beautiful !

We ask for Halal restaurant if any, the husband call and inform us the way. Unfortunately only 1 shop ..we try and walk there until there is uncle waving us at junction. The shop is so small. Only 3 tables.. we order combo menu which include Nan + dhall curry and rice.Pakcik ni jual arak gak so takkan kami nak tanya sure ni muslim.. at least we eat vege food and maybe that is how the store survive.. idk..

The owner looks like Indian and he received some call, i swore after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai fever he is talking in Hindustan. So i ask him when he send our food "is that Hindustan ?" He said he is pakistani so the sound is similar !..and he know a little so after we pay ( we also takeaway the rice the large nan already make us full) i show him the nan and said "buhoot acha" (for me is great) he just laugh and smile hehe..


Finally back to Ikebukero - need to go to cat cafe.. rumors said this this type of cafe is popular because most of working adult stay in apartment where they cant have pet.  The one that i aim from Malaysia Nekorobi is having members day,so we cant go in... but after few step from the block i saw another poster with cat! Nekonomise we just try our luck ..and yes it is cat cafe!

Station : Ikebukero exit 35...few minutes walk.
The cats are relaxing and so do the visitor! they are reading comics and play with the cats! Amazingly the cats seem so natural altho we are new and stranger to them. You can order drinks while you are here.

When we go home my sis want to check another camera store which is Bic and my friend want to go and have Japan spa massage. They can provide female massust ( is this how u spell it?)
