My Love, My Bride and Music Bank runaway

I managed to see 2PM Chansung's  musical stage of My Love, My bride. My friend got me the ticket (foreigner can buy the ticket at English site ; global interpark) and I seated at the back of Chansung's parent. The best part Nichkun and Junho also attended the same session! 2PM forever !

Of course, there is no subtitle for this play but you can still understand it just from the body language.
The supporting act was funny too. Chansung did great as he is comfortable and not nervous at all ( well he debut as actor first  ( High Kick).
The theater is located nearby Hyewa station. As I just arrived Incheon , I went directly to the theater hall and store my luggage at Hyewa.(Cost: 2000won for small locker)

You can't snap a photo or record the play but there are 2 times which, a party scene ( the actor ask us to snap haha) and the part where Chansung sang from the audience section. It is very entertaining eventho my Korean is limited. My last play was Jun. K 's 3 Musketeer and now it is maknae's turn.

The next day,early morning at 6am I went to Yeuido for KBS Music Bank. This is the only place where you can see all the idol "live" as they walk from the parking lot to the building.  I just want to experience it although there are none of my favorite singer attending hahaha.  I miss JJProject by 1 week. I think the no. of order is still base on seniority. Therefore, rookie is first in line. There were Kard, Eastlight , Shanon , Snuper and many more.As time goes by I can't recognize all the singer esp. rookies. It was raining lightly but I still manage to see the idols.  There are still a lot of space in front of the barrier. ( It also depends on the popularity I guess ) as I read Wannaone session is canceled because of the excessive fan behavior. I just stay around 1 hour and eat some breakfast before heading back to the hostel.

You can sign up for pre- recording and live show via fanclub. You can also apply via KBS website but is in hangul and they require alien id ( not for tourist). Alternatively, you can attend music show  by always checking Korea Tourism page as sometimes they give a free ticket to Music Bank and SBS The Show. Subway travel feat JYP , Rain Co and SM Artium

Our hostel , Philstay Economics is located at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park. It is connected to blue, green and purple line. It is easy to go to anywhere within Seoul using subway. Just make sure you own a T- money and reload enough $.

1st stop is Yeouinaru station Exit 2 or 3 - the I seoul U sign at Han River. You can also enjoy the river breeze here.
2nd stop - Gangnam  exit 10 ( walk  pass 2 shopping blocks)- Kakao Friends Flagship store + Ryan Cafe

3rd)Kpop tour.  You can stop at Cheongdam ( around 7- minute walk) or Apgujeong Rodeo  exit  6+ bus 143  (bus stop is in front of Uniqlo) to go to JYP and Rain Co. Hop off  at Prima Hotel and you will see Baskin Robbin across the road . Follow that path to Jyp. I  prefer Apgujeong Rodeo coz Im too lazy to walk.
You can also walk to JYP  from Apgujeong Rodeo ( around 5 minutes) along the Kpop road ( The bear statue with kpop artiste name)
Im here for Jyp, Rain Co and The Street.   ( FNC and SM , Big Hit, Around US is within the area too)

Few meters  nearby will beJilhal Bros ( Yugyeom's favorite restaurant ). Opposite that restaurant will be Rain Co.

According to Mark Got7 from their real got7 video, there is a bus to Coex from JYP. I have not explore that  yet. As  I  chose to go to  Jo Kwon's Midnight in Seoul  and then to Coex.( details will be on next post)
Alternatively from the Apgujeong Rodeo station you can go to Samseong Station ( Coex)  (exchange at Seolleung)  There is SM Artium and for muslim, there is a prayer room at the Coex convention Centre.

I hope JYPe can copy SM and  built  a place where all fan can gather. When I was there, the cafe is full of Exo L exchanging their PC . That look fun.
The instagram worthy book store is also located at Starfield Coex.

After Coex , I went to  Jamsil station to visit the latest Lotte Tower. (in next blogpost)

Seoullo 7017

Seoullo 7017 is the latest free attraction in Seoul. It used to be an overpass built in 1970. In 2017 it was transformed to public park in 2017 (hence 7017) . It is accessible via Seoul Station (Exit 2) or Nandaemun.  It is full of trees and there is cafe  + tourist information counter available.

The path -

Alternatively can ride subway from Seoul Station to Hoehyeon ( Nandaemun Market)  but you can save 1250 won  and burn some calories if you use this Seoullo 7017 pathway. Plus it is feel refreshing surrounding by trees in the middle of the city.

Backstory :

In May 2017 , there was I Seoul u concert in Kuala Lumpur. It is a free concert promoting Seoul consists of SM Singer - Red Velvet, NCT and Yesung. My first source of Seoullo is from that event, it was recommended by Red Velvet lol. The marketing strategy work! as I end up here lol. I think the view will be nicer ( and cooler ) in Autumn and Spring .

The Halal Guys Itaewon

"The Halal Guys" is the nearest I can be to get the New York feels. Lol. Don't be afraid as per their name they are using halal meat ( they even answer my enquiry via twitter @zalehaabidin directly) It took me almost 1 year to visit this store. Halal ye, kedai makanan Middle east yang popular dari New York. 

Location: Itaewon Subway exit 2 ( 2-3 minutes walk) They are on the 2nd floor.

The hype is so real that this franchise had a long queue with local during their launch. You can check the photos when you going upstair to the store.

Full platter 10,000 won.

I read that they are going to open their 2nd branch at Gangnam area. All the best Halal Guys!

Day6 July Concert

I went to Day6 July concert to release stress after I have submitted my dissertation. All stress is relieved because of Day6 great performance! ( only that my lecturer still text me to do the correction, sobs)

This time they performed at Yes24 live hall  ( previous months was in Hongdae but  July's one is in Gwangnaru). It is bigger and they have seating section on the first floor. yeay coz this noona  really need to sit lol. My friend Ani manages to beat all odds and got us the first row on the first floor.

They have great merchandise this month and we start q'ing around 9.30 am. ( they open at 1 pm) Since it is summer, everyone is equipped with USB fan, cap, and mineral water.  Thank god there was only short drizzle in middle of q'ing because I don't want my shoes and bag to be wet ( even though we have umbrella)

We manage to buy all the goods that we want around 2.30pm. Locker is provided ( 500won x 2).

The view from our seat is amazing.Plus I do think the standing section is too crowded.The staff even hands out water to the audience to avoid any fan fainting. The stage opening is awesome with the use of the stage light. Well, I don't have fan cam as it is not allowed. Anyway, lucky me 2PM Jun. K and Twice also attended that day concert. They are on the same row with me but at the right section of 1st floor. They are enjoying the concert too. Key and actress Nam Ji Hyun attended the 2nd day concert. They have been known promoting Day6's song on Instagram.

They sang the songs from the previous albums, Jan -July release  +Sunrise ( see I got Live day card too  ) and August release  What Can I do. Too bad I was expecting I won the lucky draw ( free July concert ticket , meet and greet ( lol) . As I can cut cost of the concert ticket if I won the Sunrise event card ( I agree with Wooyoung the ticket is expensive ahaha but it is worth it) .Back to the concert ,the best thing is all myday singing together before Day6 encore. The fan chant is great for all other song too.  For member special stage I think I like Jae ,Sungjin , Young K- Bueno the most. Overall,  it is a great show as always!
